In a country where everything must be cute (think Hello Kitty), they have been modifying fruits and vegetables to be the most visually appealing possible. From square watermelons to giant fuzzy peaches, they have now came out with potatoes that are scientifically Cute. How exactly is cuteness level determined, I have no idea.
